Sewing Tips & Tricks
I use my quilting rulers for practically all my cutting applications because quilting rulers used together with a rotary cutter always give an accurate measurement and cut. The only problem with these types of rulers is that they tend to slip, even with the non-slip texture that is on the underside. Invisigrip is a clear film that attaches to the bottom of your rulers by static cling, and helps to prevent the ruler from slipping. A roll of Invisigrip goes a long way, and I’ve had Invisigrip attached to some of my rulers for many, many years. You can usually find Invisigrip at your local quilting or sewing center, or you can find it here online at Amazon.
